I just returned from a deployment with a signal battalion (almost all 25 series MOSs) and many have/got good jobs (up to six figures) with their training and experience. Signal MOSs like 25N, 25S, 25Q, or 25B may allow you to earn civilian IT certs like SEC+, NET+, and CISSP (worth thousands of dollars) and potentially allow you to get an excellent civ/federal IT job even in law enforcement. While both MP and signal MOS give a security clearance, that extra technical training (especially with the certs) with a signal MOS will make you worth much more to both private employees and federal agencies.
